About Maggie

Maggie Gautier is an accomplished writer, performer, and lyricist, known for her work as the book and lyric writer for Curtain Call the Musical, her observational comedy, and her long-standing role as an M.C. for a variety of events and audiences. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Arts and Entertainment Management from Columbia College Chicago, with a minor in Video Production. Her career spans a wide range of creative and executive roles, including serving as Vice President of an award-winning independent film production company.

Ms. Gautier has written and produced numerous one-woman shows and studied musical theatre writing under the guidance of esteemed educator John Sparks. Her productions have featured celebrated musical guests such as Megon McDonough and the late Pete Special. In addition to her theatrical work, she is the author of Past the Past at Last, a collection of original poems and songs available on Amazon. Currently, Ms. Gautier serves as the Literary Arts Manager at WHAM-art.org, where she leads the development of literary arts programming, including the launch of a Youth Poet Laureate initiative, a monthly Open Mic series, and an Authors’ Circle supporting both emerging and established writers. WHAM’s Open Mic takes place on the third Friday of each month at 6:30 PM and welcomes participants of all ages and experience levels, fostering an inclusive and vibrant creative community.
